Why I Built This Site
I remember losing five thousand dollars in crypto, and it hit hard. Not because I was being reckless — but because the reviews I trusted turned out to be nothing more than sales pitches. Every single one pushed the same line: “this bot is amazing, go sign up right away.” No actual data behind it, no mention of what could go wrong, and nobody had tested anything for real over time.
That experience pushed me toward automated trading. I built my own testing process, and eventually my returns grew to 3.77x what I was managing by hand. It was not some perfect platform that made the difference. It was getting brutally honest with every tool — keeping what worked, cutting what did not, and ignoring any review that did not have real numbers to back it up.
DefenderBot.tech started because I wish something like it had existed back then.
Who I Am
My name is Zak Boukha. I run DefenderBot.tech as a full-stack developer and founder. I hold a Software Engineering certification from ALX Africa powered by Holberton School, and since 2024 I have been building and testing crypto automation systems hands-on.
The technical background changes how I look at platforms. It is not just about whether a bot makes money — I also check how the API is structured, how security is handled, whether API keys can withdraw funds, and whether the platform looks built to last or built to disappear once funding dries up.

How Every Review Works
Every platform goes through the same six-point process. No shortcuts, no exceptions:
Ease of setup — Can a beginner get started in under 30 minutes without reading a manual?
Bot strategy options — DCA, Grid, MACD, Signal bots — how flexible are they when you actually try them in live conditions?
Exchange compatibility — How many exchanges are supported, and do connections hold up during volatile markets?
Pricing vs. value — Is the paid plan actually worth the cost compared to free alternatives like Bybit Bot?
Security — How are API keys handled? Can the platform withdraw funds? Any past security incidents?
Customer support — Do they actually help when something goes wrong, or go silent exactly when users need them most?
Every review publishes the full score breakdown so it is clear why a platform ranked where it did. If the mobile app is poor, I say so. If the free tier is essentially useless, I call that out too. No platform gets a pass because it pays a higher commission.
What Else You Will Find Here
The site covers more than bots. There are articles on Bitcoin, trading strategies, market analysis, and price trends — because even a solid bot will not save you if you do not understand the market behind it. Everything is written honestly, based on real trading experience, using the same standards as the reviews.
Beginners especially need this context. Jumping into automation without understanding market cycles and risk management is how traders lose money even with good tools.
Who This Site Is For
Beginners who want to automate crypto trading without writing a single line of code and just need a straight, honest starting point.
Intermediate traders looking to scale strategies across multiple exchanges without managing everything manually.
Experienced traders who want an independent second opinion before committing to a paid annual plan.
Whether you are working with $100 or $50,000, DefenderBot.tech helps match platforms to your experience level, risk tolerance, and budget. Crypto is not one size fits all — and pretending it is would be doing you a disservice.
Platforms We Have Reviewed
Our current reviews cover the most widely used crypto automation platforms in 2026 including Bitsgap, Cryptohopper, CoinRule, Bybit Bot, and HaasOnline. We add new reviews as platforms launch and update existing ones whenever something significant changes — pricing, new exchange integrations, security incidents, or major feature updates.
Nothing stays outdated. If a platform changes after we publish, we retest and republish with a clearly marked update date so you always know how current the information is.
Our Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on DefenderBot.tech are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we fund the platform testing and keep everything free for readers.
The rule is simple: we only recommend what I would use myself. Scores stay honest even when that means calling out bad support, confusing pricing, or poor performance — commission or not. Readers matter more than any single payout.
